How to Use Honey to Get Spa-Quality Beauty Tips and Treatments

cosmetic skincare+ making - When you think of beauty tips, do you think of the sweet stuff? I know for sure that I love a great chocolate facial. Then there are the sweet things like vanilla steams, spice wraps and sugar scrubs.

But all those things are really costly. My last holiday spa visit cost me over 150 dollars, and I did not even get a full massage! Fortunately, there are a lot of ways to give yourself the same sweet treatments at home. What is the base ingredient for these facials and masques? Of course it’s honey.

You will feel absolutely luscious in no time when you use these beauty tips that include honey:

* Beauty Tips With Honey #1: Be bubbly - If you want really soft and smooth skin, just add a cup of honey to your bubble bath. Use a loofah to exfoliate while you’re in there and you will have extra creamy and glowing skin. Then add 4 tablespoons of whole milk powder and you will feel like Cleopatra, who once used milk bathes to help keep her skin clear. Of course, any time you bathe in any edible product, be sure to rinse down extra well afterwards.

* Honey Do Beauty Tip #2: Layer it on. - You can make a wonderful egg white mask using ingredients right from your own kitchen. Then put a hot wash cloth on your face for about three minutes to open up your pores. Next smooth it on your face. Let it dry for ten minutes. Wash it off with lukewarm water and admire your fresh, youthful skin.

* Beauty Tips Using Honey #3: Create your own silky-skin toner. - Honey, buttermilk and rosewater mixed together can do wonders for your skin. A Tupperware container with a screw-on lid is perfect Shake up the mixture until it is thoroughly blended. You will end up with a mixture that is quite runny and cloudy in color. Dab a cotton ball in it and apply for tight, toned skin.

You should use the best honey for these treatments. For much less than 20 dollars, you can buy a good sized jar of organic honey that hasn’t been chemically treated. You will be able to use this honey for your beauty tips for months to come
